Story behind Estrin D
Estrin D is made by Covaxil Laboratories (Klein Becker). Klein Becker is known
for weight loss products such as Relacore, Zantrex-3 and Anorex. Estrin
D is a product that claims to raise the resting metabolic rate, boost energy
levels, increase stamina and reduce diet fatigue associated with menopausal
and perimenopausal weight loss. What makes it different then any other
diet pill?
Why does it claim to be for menopausal women?
Fortunately for me I don’t have to go threw menopause so I never had to take this product. I looked at the supplement facts and saw that Estrin D is your basic weight loss product with a few added ingredients like Magnesium and Vitamin B6. To my knowledge I can’t see what makes Estrin D menopausal or perimenopausal. I think it is just a marketing plan to get woman between the ages of 35-55 to buy the product. But possibly B6 and magnesium combined may lead to a chemical that would help stimulate female weight loss. B6 is more common then magnesium. Magnesium serves several important metabolic functions. It plays a role in the production and transport of energy. It is also important for the contraction and relaxation of muscles. Magnesium is involved in the synthesis of protein, and it assists in the functioning of certain enzymes in the body if the right amount is taken daily (300mg). Estrin D contains 100mg a serving, with a dosage of 2 servings a day, 2 capsules per serving.
The bottom line
Estrin D sounds like a great concept however the only problem is the reviews on it were just not that great. Most of the reviews said it had too much caffeine in it and most women couldn’t handle the product. Estrin D comes in a 30 day cycle (120 count bottle for $59.99). I don’t think it is worth your hard earned money. One product that I know produced results for females is Lipodrene-SR by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals. Lipodrene is a very effective appetite suppressant that decreases cravings for food (especially sugar cravings). You might want to look into that.
