Does Hot Rox make Ephedra Obsolete?
Not Really. Although Hot Rox by Biotest is about as effective a fat burner you will find on the market today, it won’t produce the same weight loss results as Ephedra. Nothing is going to replace ephedra as far as producing results however it was pulled off the market with good reason. Hot Rox is an ideal supplement to take for weight trainers who are looking to lean out because it burns fat while supporting muscle growth. If this is the case, when taken with the correct diet and a steady work out routine, Hot Rox will get you where you need to be. I notice that I don’t get the jittery feeling with Hot Rox that I got when I took other fat burners that depend more on caffeine based ingredients. But then again I only take one capsule twice a day, once in the morning before breakfast and once before going to the gym in the afternoon. Hot Rox is one of the more popular supplements out there. I know several people at the gym who take Hot Rox and swear by it.
Hot Rox vs. Lipo 6
Hot Rox is manufactured by Biotest, a very well known company that brings you products like Red Kat, Mag 10 (recently pulled off the market), Tribex and Alpha Male. Biotest has a reputation as making high quality, high priced products. Hot Rox sells for $38.99 per 140 count bottle. As far as results, Hot Rox might have a slight edge over Nutrex’s Lipo 6. However at a price of $25.99 per 120 count bottle, Lipo 6 is the better buy of the two. As I mentioned in my review of Lipo 6, it is the one fat burner that I always come back to using in my supplementation diet. That’s just because it’s slightly cheaper in price and I didn’t notice a big enough difference with the Hot Rox to warrant a change.
In conclusion …
Hot Rox and Lipo 6 are products that are geared more for active lifestyle individuals. If you are someone that’s just too busy to exercise on a consistent basis you might not get the results you are looking for in a fat burner like these. You might want to look into an appetite suppressant like Lipodrene-SR by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals. If you find yourself overeating due to stress, boredom, depression or what have you then this is an excellent choice to help curb some of those cravings. Hot Rox is a great product but until the people over at Biotest lower their pricing, I am sticking with the Lipo 6.
